‘Alex Leap and his quantum adventures through time' is a comedy spoof of science and historical entertainment programmes mixed in with a little bit of Superman.

The premise is so big and the budget so small we've made a virtue of this scale, achieving the time travel moments in front of a blue screen using archive footage and with actors performing in front of it, using little or no props to create a theatrical and fun look.

Iconic characters in history and the future have managed to get hold of technology from a different era of which Alex Leap must seek out and set straight.

Horatio Nelson with a bullet proof jacket, King Harold with a crash helmet, Mother Teresa with heat magazine etc….

We want to create the feeling that any time travel idea is possible to achieve not because we've got the budget for a highly-skilled special effects unit, but because we've got plenty of imagination and fun. Thus inspiring viewers to join us in the production of the programme by sending in their own specially shot archive footage to feature in a story - a unique opportunity never realised in a comedy production before and ideal for online video viewing communities.
